Jean and David opened Family Books and Coins in 2016 to help folks facing the same challenge they faced: Dealing with expensive family heirlooms that they cherished, but couldn’t  honor as their parents had.

Estate sales help dispose of most of items that helped make a house a home. None of it ever commands the real value. But maybe, just maybe, those old books and coins have a greater value, maybe enough to help with a grandchild’s education or a summer class.
